AFFILIATION
In the year 1990, some eminent cultural persons of West Bengal felt to build a cultural platform for development of Indian Art and Culture. At the same time they wanted to provide adequate training and introduce examination system to students attached to various cultural fields in West Bengal as well as in India. Therefore, there was a preparation to set up an autonomous organization to develop and recognize creative works.
After a long struggle, ‘Suro Bharati Sangeet Kala Kendra’ had a good start on and from 5th august, 1993 under the leadership of eminent vocalist Mr. Broja Behari Chakraborty. The organization was registered under W.B. Societies Registration Act, 1961 in the same year.
