Swaraa and Thaalaa Cultural Academy
Dear Students and Parents,
We are delighted you’ve chosen to join our musical journey! On behalf of myself and our entire team, we extend a warm welcome. Please carefully review the Guideline and instructions outlined below for online and offline veena learning students.
To ensure a productive and smooth learning experience, please follow these guidelines:
Your Veena: Always have your own Veena ready for class.
Tune Your Veena: Crucially, tune your Veena to the correct pitch before your class begins. This is essential for effective learning.
Meetu Pairs: Ensure you have two pairs of meetu readily available.
Spare Strings: Keep a handy set of spare strings in case they need changing.
Notebooks Ready: Always have your notebook handy for notes and exercises.
Water Bottle Handy: Please keep a water bottle handy for hydration during your class.
Live & Interactive Only: Our online classes are live, one-on-one sessions conducted via Google Meet. We do not provide pre-recorded video lessons or utilize a Learning Management System (LMS) for course content. Your learning will happen directly with your guru in real-time.
Jalra App for Thaalams: Please have the Jalra app installed on a separate device (apart from the one you are attending class from). This will allow you to play Mridanga Thaalam accurately during your practice and class. By end of the instructions we have given details to instal Jalra app.
Login & Punctuality: Please log in to the correct Google Meet link and be on time.
No Bathroom Breaks: Please take care of personal needs before the class starts.
Technical Setup: Ensure your internet connection, camera, and microphone are working well so your guru can see and hear you clearly.
Quiet Environment: Find a quiet space free from distractions for your lesson.
Punctuality: Please be on time for your class. This ensures classes start promptly and you make the most of your lesson time.
No Bathroom Breaks: Please take care of any personal needs before the class begins to minimize interruptions.
Focused Learning: Be attentive and engaged throughout the class.
