We are delighted that you have decided to join us. Please check Syllabus and Fee Structure of the course. On behalf of myself and all of the team, we would like to extend our warmest welcome. Please adhere to the following instructions.

Shruthi

• Sruthi Box Suggestions: Radel brand: Digital tanpura – Micro V6 / Raagini plus 5 / Saarang Miraj plus / Maestro DX. Its Mandatory to play Sruthi tone throughout the class. Shruthi to be played in another device kept apart from the one attending.

Fee and Class scheduling

• Monthly class scheduling commences upon receipt of the student’s fee, with the email communicated via the registration form. Payment confirmation is essential for a student’s presence in classes, and non-payment will interrupt class access. Any delays in fee payment should be promptly communicated to the assistant or teacher.
• As per our academy rule, The fee payment due date is 5th of every month and we stick to the same payment schedule.

Syllabus & Song Notations (Mandatory)

• Abroad Students:

  • Purchase the syllabus and song notations in PDF format for ₹800. When in India, you can arrange for courier delivery of  hardcopy by paying the remaining balance.
  • International students must independently purchase the required books: ‘Ganamrutha Bodhini Sangeetha Bala Padam’ (Beginner) or ‘Ganamrutha Bodhini Varna Malika’ (Intermediate)
  • Important: Books are not shipped abroad.

• Indian Students (Books are Mandatory)

  • Beginner Course:
    
    • A package containing the Beginner course songs book (hardbound) and Swaram book (Sangeetha Bala Padam) will be couriered to your Indian postal address for ₹1600 after payment.
  • Intermediate Course:
    
    • A package containing the Intermediate course songs book (bound) and Swaram book (Ganamrutha Varna Malika) will be couriered to your Indian postal address for ₹2200 after payment.

Practice & Class Guidelines

• Practice:

  • Dedicate at least 40 minutes daily to practice with shruthi (electronic tuning device).
  • Utilize our website courses for guidance and practice repeatedly on areas where you encounter difficulties. Its Mandatory to purchase the songs and sarigama book.

• Class Participation:

  • Attendance:
    
    • Only absences informed at least 2 hours prior will be compensated.
    • All absence notifications must include a brief explanation of the reason for the absence.
    • Uninformed delays (up to 10 minutes), emergency leaves, network issues, late notices, and late payments will result in session cancellation without compensation.
  • Class Schedule:
    
    • No interruptions (like water break/bathroom break) during class hours. Ensure you have shruthi and notes readily available before each session. Students who refuse to buy books will not be encouraged.
    • Compensation classes are offered as a courtesy and are not a substitute for regular attendance. They are subject to teacher availability and scheduling constraints.
    • After fee payment, event links will be sent to your respective email id’s, we don’t give any kind of reminders before class. Kindly check your spam for email.
    • Event links are accessible from your Google calendar app. Please download the google calendar in the device you would attend class from.
    • Important: Two compensation classes are available per month, exclusively for absences notified 2 hours in advance. Unused compensation classes expire at month’s end. We do not carry over any unused classes to the following month, regardless of reason. We don’t provide any kind of fee concession.

• Class Environment:

  • Privacy: A quiet, distraction-free environment is essential. Parental supervision is discouraged unless specifically requested.
  • Video: Video must be on for the entire class. Students with video off for more than 2 minutes will be removed.
  • Posture & Thaalam: Students must sit cross-legged on the floor, maintaining thaalam with the right hand on the right thigh (no hand gestures).
  • Class Management:
  • Attendance:
    
    • Attendance: To maintain your class slot, a minimum fee may be required for students who miss all classes within a given month. Please regularly check the attendance sheet/Google Calendar for class schedules and to verify your attendance. Student’s attendance should by marked by the students in the provided sheets.
  • Registration:
    
    • Registration is confirmed upon fee payment, once trial session is completed.
    • Check Google Calendar monthly for schedule updates. Login with your registered email. Event links may not always be emailed.
  • Compensation Classes:
    
    • Timings for compensation classes will be announced via WhatsApp.

• Feedback:

  • Parents may provide feedback once a month through a phone call or by filling out a ‘Feedback form’.
